Recently La Cimbali supported The Latte Art and Manual Brew Competition that was held at The North Way Coffee Yogyakarta on January 18, 2022. The competition which was attended by 32 participants was very competitive because all participants showed their best.
Anas Becks, as The Project Leader said that actually they want to make only one event. Yet they finally held two events, there were the latte art competition and the V60 battle. Northway is one of the branches of “Arah” and there has never been a coffee event so that’s why we chose to create this event there. In that event, they use La Cimbali because they have good experience of using this machine.
La Cimbali M23UP is a machine that helps all participants to show their masterpiece. Ramadhan Adi as the judge said that The Competition is running well because of La Cimbali has not too tight pressure. It will be helpful for beginners because it will be easier to make Milk Frothing. Even though some of the participants were beginner baristas, they were so enthusiastic to show their best skills.
Then finally this competition got The Winner. Damaz Faizin, The Competition winner said that He often participates in the barista battle competition in Yogyakarta or outside of Jogja. He feels so hard to guess the strength of the rivals because the battle is so competitive. He also said that have a good experience Using La Cimbali because the Steam Wand is very helpful and it can produce smooth Milk-Frothing and minimize its bubbles so he got the foam texture needed. It makes the pouring process produce a good combination between foam and coffee. The foam produced has a firm texture and color so it can contrast with the color of the latte.
The competition was running well and La Cimbali M23UP showed the best form. in case of speed, milk-froth producing, and espresso. It’s proven that all participants can use this machine easily and La Cimbali helped them to get the best result.
