Recently Retopresso and Lacimbali became sponsors for the 6th Anniversary of Indonesia Hotel General Manager Association (IHGMA) which was held in collaboration with the F&B Manager Bandung Association (FMBBA).
The event was held on March 14, 2022 at The Papandayan Hotel. That event contains a Food and Beverage Skill Competition and there is a Barista Competition. Restopresso and Lacimbali became sponsors with 3 units of M23UP Machine and 3 units of CM on Demand grinder.
The event was attended by 21 participants who were F&B persons from West Java. All participants are required to make espresso, latte art, and mocktail creations.
There are 2 parts of Latte Art that are contested. The first challenge is Latte Art with 4 steps tulip pattern. Then Latte Art with free pours challenge where participants are free to explore their creativity in latte art patterns. The last challenge is the signature beverage challenge. They have to create the signature menu as Coffee Mocktail with a combination of espresso-based. The Signature Beverage Challenge must be completed in less than 15 minutes.
La Cimbali and Restopresso were represented by Joanne Innez to be the judges for this competition. In this competition, there are 3 judges with 2 sensory judges divided while Innez is the technical judge.
The event is running so well and the La Cimbali M23UP Machine and Grinder CM On Demand made the enthusiasm of the participants good. They could work well to support the creativity of the participants during the competition.
